Our Mission. Your Success.
King Sejong Institute Foundation & Global Presence
The King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF), established in 2007 under the Government of South Korea, is dedicated to promoting Korean language education and culture around the world. It carries the name of King Sejong the Great, the ruler who created Hangul, the Korean alphabet.
The Foundation helps run standardized curricula, develop teaching materials, train teachers, and create cultural exchange opportunities through its network of institutes known globally as the King Sejong Institutes (KSIs).
As of mid-2024, there are over 248 King Sejong Institutes in 85 countries, with this number growing steadily as global interest in the Korean language and culture increases.
King Sejong Institute Tunis (KSIT)
The King Sejong Institute Tunis (KSIT) -founded in 2022- is a member of this global KSIF network and represents its presence in Tunisia.
KSIT offers formal, high-quality Korean language education based on the standard materials and teaching methods provided by the Foundation. Beyond language instruction, the institute participates in cultural activities that foster connections between Tunisia and Korea, helping students not only to learn Korean but to understand and appreciate Korean culture.
Through qualified teachers, community events, and accessible courses, KSIT serves as a local bridge linking Tunisian learners with the broader world of Korean language and culture.
